Awakening the Priestess: Fall Equinox Ceremony

Join us as we gather together in sacred ceremony to honor the changing of the seasons and to awaken the priestess archetype within.

The Fall Equinox is when day and night are equal in length as we transition from the summer to fall. This is a time for pausing, reflecting and (re)balancing. We will also be in the window of an eclipse cycle  (when the earth, sun and moon align) which ushers in big changes & spiritual evolution.

Who is The Priestess? A priestess is a woman who embodies her sacred connection to the divine feminine frequency. She is a channel for spirit and acts as a bridge between this physical reality and the higher realms. She is drawn to nature, ritual, and ceremony. She is tied to the moon, wisdom, magic and inspiration. The Priestess is a deep feeler, highly sensitive and is called to be of service.

She values authenticity, vulnerability and integrity, and is equally fierce, strong and compassionate. She leads with her heart and intuition, and flows with the cyclical rhythms of life, embracing the dark and light. The path of the priestess is one of deep soul remembrance, sovereignty, reclamation and self-mastery.

Our ceremony will support you in tending to your inner healing and anchoring your sacred feminine wisdom, as we cleanse our emotional waters through journaling, sensual embodiment, self massage, soul awakening breathwork, anointing, space holding, and sisterhood connection.

New to Anointing? The ancient technology of holy anointing awakens the spirit and accelerates the healing process. Traditionally, holy oils were used in ceremonies for birthing, dying and death, grieving, fertility, and the blessing of sacred unions by Scent Priestesses. Today, we still anoint for these rites of passage as well as to experience healing in any time of need.  After the oils move into the bloodstream, they remain in the body for 40 days. They work as allies to reawaken parts of ourselves that we have abandoned or disconnected from. The light and frequency returns.

New to Breathwork? Breathwork is a dynamic and active meditation practice that uses rhythmic circular breathing to journey out of the linear mind and into the body, heart and Soul. We will be practicing the 3-part breath pattern and you will be laying down on your back, belly up, for this process. This modality connects us to our feminine feeling body so we can heal, release and clear any stagnant, unprocessed and dense emotions, with the intention of returning to a state of wholeness and balance from within. Breathwork can create a profound opening, a portal to deep presence where non-ordinary states of consciousness are reached. It can also create a transcendental and euphoric state of being. You may feel vibrating and tingling sensations, body temperature changes of heat or cold, emotional release, laughing, crying, screaming, shaking, and/or muscle tightening. Any and all emotions are welcomed here.

Timing & The Flow: 

- This year’s equinox will arrive at 8:43am EST.

- Our doors will open at 8am. 

- Ceremony will begin at 8:30am and end by 11:30am.

- A light breakfast will be served.

- Please arrive on an empty stomach. 

- You are welcome to simply roll out of bed, come in your pajamas and/or silk robes. :)
